Hej! I was born and raised in Sweden, but moved to New York for love. Being far away from my Swedish friends and family, I developed a passion for greeting cards. Sending cards is a beautiful way of keeping in touch and sharing precious moments in life.
Bright and bold colors make me happy. It is as simple as that. There is also science supporting the fact that an abundance of colors and round shapes brings us joy. Color is used as a tool to create safer and happier environments in schools, hospitals and cities. Color is a messenger for love and life. That is why my true mission as a Graphic Designer and an entrepreneur is to bring people joy.
The name Belle Belette is an inspiration from my favorite movie Amelie. The main character, Amelie Poulain, is imaginative, colorful and embraces the small things of her everyday life that bring her happiness. I want Belle Belette to be a reminder to enjoy the little things. Take a break from stress, enjoy a coffee and write a card to someone you love.
